Literacy Skills
Individual courses are designed to support learners of all ages in the acquisition of literacy skills (reading and writing) in English.
Study Skills
- Individual courses are designed to meet the specific needs of each student; includes analysis of learning style and modalities and development of effective learning techniques and strategies. (Minimum of 4 sessions)
- Individual or small group courses are available to other agencies on contract.

NCEA English
- Individual courses are designed to meet needs of secondary school students preparing for NCEA assessments at Levels 1, 2 and 3. (Minimum of 4 sessions)
NCEA Science, Chemistry and Physics
- Individual courses are designed to meet needs of secondary school students preparing for NCEA assessments at Levels 1 and 2.(Minimum of 4 sessions)
Public Speaking
Individual courses are available for secondary school students and adults.
- Short Course (Minimum 4 sessions)
The course covers aspects of voice production and effective speaking; usually in preparation for a particular presentation.
- General Course (Minimum 10 sessions)
The course covers all aspects of voice production and effective speaking. Students are encouraged to enter a Public Speaking examination appropriate to their level.
